Plagiarism

2015-07-20
Plagiarism shows disrespect not only to those whose work is copied but to reviewers who waste time on reviewing a paper only to find that it has to be rejected for lack of originality. SACJ has started pre-screening papers for plagiarism before sending them for review and any paper that has unacceptable levels of copying other materials will be rejected without review. Should any reader spot plagiarism that has missed our checks, please let us know. The only kind of reuse we accept is an extended version of a conference paper, but we have very explicit rules covering that. If in doubt, ask.
